It's that time of year again!
As the weather gets cooler, it will soon be time to turn on our furnaces and boilers again. Before you do...and dirt, dander, pollen and more is blown all over your home...
Give us a call (716-679-0080).
For a safer home and cleaner air, give our team @ Gugino Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning a call to schedule a seasonal home maintenance appointment. Duct cleaning, filter replacement, furnace service/repair, and other services will give you peace of mind for your family...including all of your adorable 4-legged friends!
Nick and Rita Gugino started their family business in 1973. You can read the story by clicking the button below. But before you go, we wanted to show you something very special. The pictures you see here still hang today in the offices at Gugino's. They are the three different ships that Nick served our country during his time in the US Navy. Sometimes when we see the story behind the story, it helps put things in perspective. A man of honor did more than just start a business, he defended our great nation. And as we start each day, we remember...who he was...because it has given all of us the opportunity to be who we are today. Remembering where we came from will always keep us on course to where we are called to go. And we are excited that part of that journey is in service to you...our valued customers. Thank you for your trust, confidence and willingness to allow us to be part of your lives. It truly is...an honor.
We hope you have your feet up, and are enjoying a great day off. Our team is off today too so that they can spend time with their family and friends.
Always on the go. Able to juggle multiple tasks and make it look like easy.
That's Cathy Gugino.
Cathy graduated from Cassadaga Valley High School and Fredonia State with an Accounting degree. In addition she has completed multiple kitchen design classes through KraftMaid. It's her constant pursuit of education for the benefit of our customers that has made Cathy such a visionary with both the Gugino & Bella Casa brands.
When Cathy is away from work she absolutely loves spending time with family and friends doing all sorts of fun things. In the summer months she is always on the beach volleyball courts and camping. And when fall hits it's all about Buffalo Bills and Buffalo Sabres games!
It's all about people for Cathy.
Going to work is fun because...
you don't just work for the Gugino family...you are genuinely "part of the family".
Robert is originally from California, so you can understand his love to get out on the water. (California is near a lot of it) He moved to Northern Chautauqua County 26 years ago to be near family, and has been here ever since. (We wouldn't let him leave)
Robert is another one of our NATE Certified Technicians. His extensive experience in both full furnace installations and everyday service work makes him very sought after when our customers call.
When you order a new furnace, it's likely Robert will be one of the first people on the Gugino team that you will meet. And in addition to his NATE certifications, Robert is TRANE certified in furnace installations and service as well.
As you can tell from the picture, & the last blog post about Joe, it seems as though we may be starting a competitive boating team at Gugino's! Stay tuned for more on that. (Or don't, bc we really aren't starting one)
And when Robert isn't on the water, it's likely he's got the boat docked, and is camping somewhere.
We can't say enough how lucky we are to have the team that we do. Robert is a HUGE piece of that puzzle that meets and exceeds the needs of our customers every single day.
Joe doesn't know how to walk.
And what we mean by that, is he is a customer's dream. When he works, he hustles. He has a knack for honoring your time and never compromises the quality of his work.
He is a tremendous diagnostician in plumbing and HVAC service repair.
Joe also is the guy you want on the job when it comes to fixing boilers.
And the picture you see below is where all of Joe's hard work meets relaxation and hobby.
He loves spending time with his wife, Wendy, on their boat.
AND…It's commonly known that Joe should run for mayor.
He knows everyone in Dunkirk and Fredonia, works hard, and is just a genuine all around great guy.
We couldn't be happier that Joe is a member of our team…
and the extended Gugino family!
Even when work is done for the day,
