Our new arrival is here, and she's beautiful!

She will help us dig you out of tough situations. Only the best will do, because we are doing it for you! Join us in welcoming this beautiful baby Bobcat to the Gugino Plumbing, Heating, & Air Conditioning Team. Just because it will flush doesn't mean you should flush it. "Flushable" Wipes & Tampons They might go down the drain, but the problem is they won't go through it. At some point they stop, and act as the headache to your bank account. They become a wall that catches whatever comes next. And at some point...you guessed it...your sewer backs up.
Avoid the back-up by not doing the flush these things down. If you have tenants renting a property, make sure it's in your lease that they are responsible for any repair work that is the result of any of these products found in the system when it's cleared out. Avoiding this mistake will save you money because you won't be calling to have your sewer unplugged. While it's technically true that flushable wipes...well, flush...here's the thing. Once they get through your toilet line, they can end up sitting in your sewer line. If that happens, you end up calling us, because your sewer has backed up into your house.
Flushable wipes can cause sewer lines to back-up! Gross, right? And if that isn't bad enough... This. If the flushable wipes do get through your sewer line, they have to end up somewhere. And where might that be? Our sewage treatment plant. Once they arrive there? They can cause problems, damaging the equipment. Who pays for the sewage treatment plant equipment to be replaced when it breaks? Taxpayers. Sewage in your basement, and higher taxes in our community. So...the moral of the story? #FlushTheIdea. Don't use #FlushableWipes. |
